Charmaine,  Personal Trainer & Nutrition Coach 


In my 30's I was the athletic type and never worried about my weight.  Once I had 2 children and became less active over the years my weight crept up to 190 lbs. It wasn't until I had a health scare in 2013 I decided to make a change. Since then I have been following a "mostly" vegan diet (...cheese is still my weakness!) and exercising regularly, I lost 40 lbs. In making these lifestyle  changes it inspired me to make a career change and become a Personal Trainer and Nutrition Therapist. 

My passion for helping and coaching people on how to achieve their professional and personal goals,  has made it an easy  transition into the health and fitness industry only to further drive my passion.

As a breast cancer survivor now in my 50's, along with having a young daughter with Type 1 Diabetes I know first-hand the importance of a healthy diet and following a fitness regimen to achieve optimum health.

I am truly dedicated in helping my clients reach their fitness and nutrition goals in a healthy professional manner in order to maintain a life-time of loving their bodies inside and out!

Even though I have lost and kept off 70 lbs. over twenty-three years now, it was not easy. I had to totally adapt a new relationship to food and exercise. After having my fourth child, my weight plummeted to 240 lbs. Completely disappointed in myself, I felt like such a failure being a size 18 especially when shopping in plus size stores. I knew deep down inside that this size 18 was not my happy and comfortable size. 


I spent many years trying "quick-fix" weight loss methods. Anything from spending hundreds of dollars on pills, shakes, visiting weight loss clinics to crazy diets, which were all unsuccessful. I could never seem to effectively lose the weight and keep it off.


I finally figured it out that it was about balance, balance of healthy foods and exercise to maintain a healthy body. Now that I have changed my body and my life, I am committed and capable of helping my clients achieve a new healthy lifestyle, which will transform their entire life.

I have been overweight for the majority of my childhood and throughout my teenage years. I did not realize how much of an impact my weight was having on my overall health. From severe menstrual cramps, short of breath from minimal physical activity, to knee problems that caused me to be unable to stand for long periods of time. I was the last person you would ever think would be interested in fitness. I was uncomfortable in my skin but was too lazy to do and lacked the confidence to anything about it. 


 It wasn’t until I lost a job because I couldn’t manage standing on my feet for 8 hours at a time that I knew something needed to change. A change for the better. Since I have started my fitness journey, I’ve lost over 50 lbs! I’m healthier than I have ever been, and have gained a confidence in myself I never knew was possible to have.


Now being in my mid-20’s with a newfound love for fitness and health,I want to inspire and motivate others to have and enjoy a better life. I am an example that it’s possible to make a healthy change in your life and maintain it. I am passionate and dedicated to getting my clients started and keep them on track through their journey!
